Can you imagine what would happen if 99% of the servers at Facebook, Google, or even JP Morgan went down? It would be utter chaos and there’s a good chance there would be substantial data loss / irreversible corruption. But guess what happens if 99% of Bitcoin goes down? Nothing. It will run just fine.
