i’m very new to running bitcoin nodes. i’m really hoping someone can help me.

I’m running a bitcoin node via LunaNode.com. I’ve successfully installed BTCPay and have got my wallet working perfectly on the base bitcoin chain. The issue I’m having is trying to accept lightning payments. I just ran into the issue of having no inbound capacity on my lightning node. This means I can’t receive any funds on btcpay with my lightning node.

I found this website: https://lightningto.me

I’ve stumbled at the first hurdle however. It’s asking for the public key of my node, and I just have no idea how I get that.

I’d be really grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Ok, I think I’ve finally found the 66 alphanumeric public key of the node. The issue I’m now having is that when I enter this onto lightningto.me, it says: Error: wrong public key (unable to find node)

Edit 2: Reading on this page, it says make sure that your bitcoin node is set to public, not private. How can I tell if my node is public or private, and if it is set to private, how can I set it to public?
