Cosmetic Shop, Player-to-Player Item Marketplace, Design Bucks conversion, and MUCH MORE! Plus, our multi-million HXD Airdrop starts on May 10th!

The game will be under maintenance for 6 hours starting at 8:30AM UTC on May 8th to make the updates.

Cosmetic Shop is live!

You can now shop for cosmetic upgrades most of which also affect the stats of your Bees. Access the Cosmetic Shop by tapping the Shop icon in the lower left corner of your Hive. Once there, you will see any special offers from our partners that are available. Scroll right to see the selection of Cosmetics available today. There are dozens of new cosmetics that will rotate through the shop. Be sure to check daily to see them all.

To apply the new cosmetic to your Bee, visit the Bee Lab and scroll to the right until you see Trait Swap.

NOTE: You can’t move cosmetics from Bee to Bee. If you add a new cosmetic to your Bee, the old cosmetic will be burned meaning you will no longer have access to it. If the previous cosmetic was providing a stat boost, the boost will also be removed.

Player-to-Player Item Marketplace is live!

Shop the Item Marketplace by tapping the Shop icon in the lower left corner of your Hive. Sort the offerings using the menu and tabs to find just what you are looking for.

To list items for sale: Visit your inventory by tapping on the backpack icon in the upper right area of the game.

Tap the items tab
Tap the item you want to sell
Tap Sell

You can list single items and/or packages with 2, 5, or 10 identical items. There is a 10% charge for selling items in the Marketplace, meaning sellers will receive 90% of the item selling price. The HXD for selling items will be deposited to your in-game, taxable balance. (Learn about the difference between taxable and non-taxable balances here.)

There are limits on the number of listings you can have active at one time. You can purchase additional listing slots by visiting the Item Marketplace and choosing My Listed Items from the dropdown menu.

New Badges

We have new Badges for players that qualify:

Holding 100,000 or more Design Bucks
Content Creators
Hive Vibe member
Honey Madness winners
World Cup winner

Tap your avatar in the upper left corner and then tap the Badges tab to activate new badges.

Generations Bee upgrade cost reduced

Starting with this new build, the cost to upgrade your Generations Bees will be reduced from 8 HXD to 1 HXD per upgrade! Gen Z upgrades continue to be free.

Referral code is now displayed

Your referral code is now displayed in the upper right corner of the Referral screen. Players need to enter your referral code when they FIRST download the game to count as your referral. For more details about referrals including the list of available prizes, click here.

Design Bucks Conversion

Although Design Bucks no longer have utility in Honeyland and can’t be earned or purchased, players who hold Design Bucks will be rewarded!

Design Bucks (DB) conversion:

up to 99,999 DB — you will receive 1 Zzub for every 10 DB
100,000–249,999 DB — you will receive 10,000 Zzubs plus a Silver Hive Decoration set (cannot be purchased) and an in-game achievement badge
250,000–499,999 — you will receive 15,000 Zzubs plus a Gold Hive Decoration set (cannot be purchased) and an in-game achievement badge
500,000–999,999 — you will receive 20,000 Zzubs plus a Platinum Hive Decoration set (cannot be purchased) and an in-game achievement badge
1,000,000+ — you will receive 25,000 Zzubs plus a Diamond Hive Decoration set (cannot be purchased) and an in-game achievement badge

NOTE: You can view your current Zzubs balance by tapping the Bonus icon in the lower left corner of the game. Your balance will be displayed at the top of the screen.

VIP points now need to be claimed

Previously, when you completed a VIP task the points were automatically added to your account. Going forward you will need to claim them from the tasks screen (in the same way you currently claim XP). You are still able to complete VIP tasks multiple times per day.
