The Surge is a campaign launched in April 2024.The goal is to attract liquidity to the LINEA chain. They want to put their feet on the ground, as many chains have disappeared in the past because they could not secure TVL.

When you join the Surge, you will receive LXP-L points. This is separate from the previous LXPs, they say, and entirely new participants are welcome, and there are two ways to earn LXP-L points: by having assets in a wallet or by depositing assets in a designated protocol. And no PoH required this time.

The time frame is 6 months or until TVL reaches $3 billion, whichever comes first. In addition to the statement that they would like to distribute more rewards to those who provide liquidity, they are currently able to deposit ETH at an annual interest rate of 20%, which is something to be thankful for.

Here is an official table showing the efficiency of earning LXP-L points. Light blue is the most efficient way to earn points. In this article, we will aim at the light blue area and deposit to ZeroLend. This one just announced a campaign called Zero Gravity on 4/11, promising airdrops of ZERO tokens, so let’s get those as well.

・Make a deposit.
・The earlier you register, the more points you earn.
・The earlier you join, the more points you earn.

Access to The Surge Dashboard

・First, you must register to collect LXP-L points.
・Connect and authorize your wallet and scroll down a bit.
・Click on the “Activate” button to complete your Surge registration.

Go to Zero Lend and register to join Zero Gravity

① Once you connect your wallet and sign in,
② Join the Discord,
③ Just type gm every day in the gm/gn channel and you’ll get points.
④ Then click to provide liquidity.

1) Connect the wallet again,
② Select ETH this time

① Select ETH/WETH,
② Click “Supply”.

① 0.1 or higher is the official recommendation
② Turn on Supply.

The on-chain work is complete.

And while there is still a grace period, consider keeping your ETH balance in the LINEA chain at least 0.005 ETH. There have been several instances where wallet balances have been used for civic checks.
