Kanye West may call himself “God,” but it’s unlikely anyone close to him agrees.
- Kanye West is suing his former bodyguard for blabbing about the star who called him “needy.”
- John Legend says he and Kanye have “gone their separate ways.”
- And to put it all into context: the 11-year Swift feud + Donald Trump bromance.
Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian West are threatening to sue a former bodyguard for making “false and defamatory” statements about the couple — especially Kanye.
The Wests warn that if he opens his mouth once more, he can look forward to a multi-million dollar lawsuit.
Steve Stanulis allegedly went on the “Hollywood Raw Podcast” a few weeks back and started blabbing about the star, while also breaching their confidentiality agreement.
Stanulis may have signed the agreement in February 2016, but that didn’t stop him from talking. He made some serious statements about the singer.
Yeezy is the ‘Moodiest’ and ‘Neediest’ Celebrity, According to his Ex-Bodyguard
I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but if you look at the paparazzi pictures, the “moody” assertion makes a lot of sense. Plus, the guy takes himself way too seriously.
According to Stanulis, Kanye employed “ridiculous rules” while working together, such as walking 10 paces behind him on streets, and never blocking a paparazzi shot. Ah, vanity.
Stanulis also called West the “moodiest” and “neediest” celeb who’s hired him.
I guess he photobombed a pap picture once or twice?
The West-Trump Bromance Doesn’t Help
Being friends with POTUS isn’t scoring Kanye any points in the friendship department.
John Legend is the most recent celebrity to speak out about his relationship with West, claiming they were “never the closest of friends.”
“I don’t think we’re less friends because of the Trump thing. I just think we’re doing our own thing,” said Legend.
But being associated with a Trump-lover isn’t exactly good press, so I think it’s all to do with the “Trump thing.”
Even Wests’ sisters-in-law’s held a grudge.
In 2018, Kim Kardashian’s sisters Kourtney, Khloe, and Kylie all unfollowed West on Twitter after he posted messages in support of D. Trump. As did a slew of other celebrities, including Rihanna, Drake, Katy Perry, and Ariana Grande, among others.
Kanye West’s Feud with Taylor Swift
To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that “Kanye never called to ask for permission…” They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word “bitch” was used without her permission.

It started in 2009 and ended in … well, it actually never did end.
From interrupting Swift’s acceptance speech during the 2009 MTV VMA awards to undercutting her success claiming he made the singer famous, it’s been a long and rocky road between the two stars.
I think it’s pretty obvious to say that Kanye West is not the most popular figure in Hollywood.
