Blast Gold is intended to promote Dapp development by enabling Dapps to reward users with Gold through the Blast Points API. The expectation is for Dapps to distribute all received Gold to their users.
As a user you can earn Blast Gold by using Dapps that have received Gold and integrated with the Points API. You’ll also earn Gold when your invite’s earn gold (+16%) and when their invite’s earn Gold (+8%).
Gold will be distributed to a wide range of Dapps. Vet Dapps before you use them. Each Dapp will distribute Gold differently, so make sure to DYOR. Report Dapps that don’t distribute their Gold, create liquid proxies for Gold, or use Gold nefariously in the Blast Discord.
We’re prioritizing Dapps that utilize Blast-native features, integrate with our Points API, and align with Blast long-term. Dapps offering unique, Blast-native products will receive the most Gold.
Currently, only Dapps receive Gold, but future distributions will also include holders of Blast-native assets (ERC-20s, ERC-721s, etc.). More details will be shared later. In the meantime, check out our blog to see which Dapps got Gold in Distribution 1
